Hockey Teams Earn Double-Header Victories

On Saturday, the girls and boys varsity hockey teams opened their season at home in the Class of 1993 Rink in a hockey double-header; both teams secured their first win of the season. The girls varsity hockey team led the way with a 3-1 victory over St. Mark’s and boys varsity hockey rallied from behind to defeat Groton, 5-2. On Saturday, the Deerfield Big Green enjoyed a sensational Saturday of contests. Overall the Doors posted a 9-2 record on the day with 1st and 3rd place team finishes on the cross-country course.
